NuuMed started making numnahs around 17 years ago, so we are thoroughly tried and tested. We still design and make all our products at our factory in Somerset, England, and that enables us to provide the flexibility, accessibility, accountability and quality control levels we know our customers look for - and it means if you can't find it, we'll make it!

  Along the way, NuuMed has notched up some notable firsts:

•  HiWither numnahs and pads - a design unique to NuuMed and
  the first to follow the contours of a horse's back;
• the use of specially mixed wool knitted onto cotton yarn as opposed to a dead sheep's skin - all the wool you need with no skin attached
• the Combination design - the first pad to address the changing
  shape of a horse.

Today, the range has a numnah or pad to fit most saddles, which means that whatever your favourite equestrian activity - hacking, dressage, eventing, hunting, endurance, racing, western... - there is a NuuMed numnah or pad that's right for you.
