Reassurance and Frequently Asked Questions

Firstly we would like you to know that your safety and the safety of our staff is paramount. Deliveries to our customers will continue during this period with hygiene precautions in place. We will keep you up to date here if any changes occur or please follow our social media account daily.


Please Note - Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 our couriers can no longer guarantee our services. We will ensure to have your orders dispatched as soon as possible but please be aware once it has left us it is in the hands of our couriers to deliver your orders as soon as possible.




Our click and collect service will continue and you will see the new click and collect point clearly marked outside the store with a separate lead entrance to avoid the store queue. Due to volume of orders your click and collect orders will not be available immediately. We will contact you once ready. Please call the office 02476 402474 and we can help you. 



Order online as normal, we are dispatching daily, the couriers may be a touch slower. Our online presence is always refreshed with new editions and offers.





We can confirm we have complied with the government’s guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19 and have the steps in place for shopping safely at Townfields.

When you visit the store things may look a little different but the measures are put in place for your safety as customers, our staff and ourselves until new guidelines are released that may alter this new discipline. Please understand the following

  • Sanitise your hands when entering the store at hand sanitiser point.


  • Maintain a distance of at least 2 metres from people who are not from your own household. There will be distance markers on the floor to remind you.


  • Please follow our new one way system around the store, follow floor markers and signage.


  • At the moment we will allow 3 households into the store at any one time so there may be a queue at peak times, please be patient we will do our best. If there is a queue we will keep you informed and work as a team to maintain distances.


  • Shop alone if possible, no more than 3 people per family please.


  • Footwear can be safely tried on maintaining 2 metres distance in a separate marquee adjacent to the store.


  • Riding Hat and Body Protector Fitting can be undertaken carefully. We will ask you to wear a disposable mask as the customer and we too will wear a mask and vizor sanitising before and after. You may have to wait but we will keep you informed.


  • Please avoid picking up items you may not wish to purchase.


  • Our toilets will be closed until further government guidance.


  • Our changing rooms too are closed. Returns will obviously be allowed either for a refund or exchange once tried on at home. Any returns we receive will not immediately return to stock until after 72 hours.


  • Card payments are preferred, contactless first followed by chip and pin

We have been working behind the scenes to prepare our store in line with the government guidelines so that we can open in a safe way. Please understand that your safety and our staff’s safety is paramount so if we can all have an understanding and work together to keep safe until the guidelines allow us to ease the restrictions. There may be times when we ask you to keep your distance or restrict certain numbers into the store but this is for everybody’s safety. Please bear with us.
