Equine America Magnitude promotes healthy nerve tissue and reduces nervous tension in horses and ponies.

Equine America Magnitude has many roles within the body, including the health of nerve endings and fibres. A lack of magnesium may show in a horse as tension or nervousness. Magnitude is a highly absorbable form of Magnesium that should be fed daily to horses or ponies to promote healthy nerve tissue and reduce nervous tension. For very young, excitable, or overzealous horses requiring focus, increased concentration, and calming, a product from the So-Kalm® Plus range will be more suitable. So-Kalm® Plus Paste may also be used as a pre-competition addition alongside Magnitude.

Magnitude has undergone a slight colour change but remains the same product, now with even more quality assurance. Equine America is pleased to confirm that there is no difference in the magnesium levels or the chemical source of the magnesium used (magnesium oxide - MgO), only in the physical form of MgO now being used.

This change in physical form (to a slightly more granular form with a pale beige colour) has arisen because Equine America (UK) products are now manufactured in the UK, using certified facilities with the highest standards of safety and production. Although Equine America (UK) products have always been free from prohibited substances, these new UFAS and BETA NOPS certifications provide further reassurance in light of recent high-profile prohibited substances cases, giving customers peace of mind regarding FEI, BEF, and BHA prohibited substances, enabling full traceability.

In order to comply with the rules and regulations regarding these certifications, Equine America is only able to use certain suppliers who are also certified and has had to make a change to its supply of magnesium oxide, so it is now using the lower dust, slightly granular form, which is pale beige.
