Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.

Return items within 28 days in perfect condition with original packaging and a completed returns form (downloadable if needed); you must arrange and cover return postage unless goods are faulty, and we recommend obtaining proof of postage as you’re responsible until the return arrives.

The Pelham Waterford Bit uses a variety of pressures that work together to prove a very useful bit.
The Pelham is an incorporation of the Weymouth and bradoon, and should theoretically be used with two reins. The first rein is attached to the snaffle rein, and the second rein attached to the ring at the bottom of the shank. When the first rein is used, the Pelham acts like a hanging cheek snaffle, putting slight pressure on the poll and various pressures in the mouth depending on the mouthpiece. When the second rein is brought into play, this increases the leverage and lip pressure, and also the curb chain comes into play.
This bit has a chain type mouthpiece with ball-shaped links. The bit is floppy and mobile in every way, completely movable in all directions. The Waterford mouthpiece has proved one of the most popular bits for bitting problems such as leaning, taking hold of the bit, or setting the jaw. When the horse tries to lean or take hold of the bit, the Waterford mouthpiece collapses, so the horse has nothing rigid to take hold of. It encourages the horse to work off its quarters and carry itself rather than using the bit as a bike handle to lean on. This bit has several joints and distributes the pressure of the mouthpiece over both the tongue and bars. Although this bit may look severe, it is quite a mild bit in the right hands.
