With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Brand:Happy Mouth Horse Bits
Code:HB2856
The Happy Mouth Peanut Hanging Cheek Bit is apple scented, tough, non-toxic, and features a flexible mouth with reinforcing stainless steel.
The Hanging Cheek, also known as the Filet Baucher, uses pressure on the poll as the cheek piece has an extra ring above the snaffle ring where the bridle cheek pieces are attached. This poll pressure encourages the horse to lower its head and come onto the bit, especially useful for horses that have a high head carriage. The roller mouthpiece bits have proven to be among the most popular of mouths.
This bit has an oval-shaped link in the center, made from the Happy Mouth material, which is movable and rolls around the stainless steel center. It has two joints, which means the pressure of the bit is distributed over both the tongue and bars of the mouth. Because the mouthpiece has two joints, it should not cause any interference with the roof of the mouth. The roller uses tongue pressure to encourage the horse to go on the bit and lower its head; it has bar and lip pressure but not a squeezing action like that of a bit with a single joint. The more joints a bit has, the less likely the horse is to lean as the bit becomes more mobile. The roller also encourages mouthing and acceptance as the horse can play with the roller and be kept content.
