Riding Hat and Body Protector fitting
When you buy a riding hat from Townfields Saddlers, you will be given a free hat fitting to ensure that the product is the most suitable for your safety, comfort and discipline. Professional hat fitters are always on the premises here. Anyone who buys a riding hat from our website is also entitled to visit the shop with their new purchase for a free hat fitting; simply bring your order acknowledgement email or packing slip as proof of purchase.
In addition to our hat fitting service, our trained staff can also offer body protector fitting. This is part of the service when you buy a body protector in-store. If you buy a body protector online, we would again be delighted to ensure it is the correct fit for you if you decide to visit us.
You do not need to book an appointment to have a Hat, Body or Boot fitting. It is only saddle fittings that require an appointment.
Clipper Servicing and Blade Sharpening
Are your clippers just not cutting it anymore? or starting to show wear and tear? Bring them to our shop and we'll send them to our expert service partners. We will obtain a quotation to service your clippers or simply sharpen your blades or both. These services are priced at:
Blade sharpening ( blades must have all their teeth intact and not be of the disposable plastic type), up to 10 working day turn around - £11.95
Clippers will be sent for repair/service on a quotation first service. We send them Parcelforce 48hr to our service partner and a swift quotation will be received of which you will agree prior to work taking place. A deposit is taken of £25.00, which will be redeemable against the cost of the repair/service.
Saddle Fitting
Townfields Saddlers Offer a Bates and Wintec Saddle Fitting Service. Bates and Wintec saddles in a variety of styles are in stock in our showroom with Bates and Wintec accessories too.
Please come and have a look !! Saddle Fitting appointments can be arranged to suit either on our premises here in Coventry or our saddle fitter Paul Hayes can visit your yard at a convenient time. Please read about our saddle fitting under the saddle fitting section.
Rug Washing / Reproofing / Repair
Townfields work in partnership with Dapper Dobbins as a drop off/collection point for rugs to be washed or repaired. Please liase with them directly and bring your rugs to the store in a bag ready to be washed or repaired
